First, let me thank you for Republic and for sharing it in such progressive fashions. I have very much enjoyed the podcast thus far and have only 2 episodes left. May I suggest that, at least for the time being, you edit the podcast description for Insurgent. Currently, it contains spoilers for the end of Republic. Thank you again.

I just finished listening to the Conclusion of Republic and the intro to Insurgent. I haven't been so chilled since I watched the films of nerve agent victims in Marine Corps bootcamp in 1984 and had the sudden realization that "this is too real." Concise prose, naked realism and a very credible plot make Republic/Insurgent prophetic. I look forward to buying in hard copy.

It's been a long time! Are you recording more?

I've finished the Republic podcast and it was an outstanding "read" congratulations on what is a really insightful look into a possible future.

With the combination of the mortgage scare, the fuel scare and a possible change of philosophy at "the top" it is to be hoped your country won't have to actually go down Republic's road. In Australia we have, hopefully, just taken a big step back from Republic's world with the election of Kevin Rudd and the Australian Labour Party. Time will tell. My main reason for writing is to ask about the Special Feature that appears in iTunes ... "What happens when creepy little parasites invade? Find out. More information here about Infected." This does not lead to anything at the moment. Is it possible you are working on another book!! Once again thanks for a great read, it really was thought provoking and I'm recommending it to my friends in Australia. Jim Bell
