My War wins Blooker Prize
If you haven't read Colby Buzzell's "My War," you need to stop what you are doing right now and go get it. Colby was one of the most prominent "Milbloggers" a couple of years back, when the phenomena was pretty new. His take on the war was pretty raw and honest, and turned into a bestselling book.
This is one of the books I gave to my nephew as he was considering whether or not to enlist in the Marine Corps -- an honest account, and from someone a little more contemporary than me (after all, he was a toddler when I came home from Iraq).
I mention it here because My War just won the 2007 Lulu.com Blooker Prize, which is awarded to the best book based on a blog or website.

So, a large number of people have written and commented in the blog asking when the next chapter will be. The answer is, very very soon. Sometimes real life gets in the way, but I think I'm back on track schedule wise.
