Republic: A Novel of America's Future
Welcome to the America of the future: an intrusive federal government; economy going down the tubes; and terrorism, domestic and foreign, wracking our nation. In 2016 America has become a place of fear and suspicion. Terrorism and government crackdowns have brought on a cycle of spiraling inflation and unemployment. Basic civil liberties are at risk in a country changed, yet frighteningly familiar.
Over the next few months, I'll be blogging my new novel Republic, A Novel of America's Future, along with a free podcast of the book. Scheduled for publication in August 2007, Republic is a considerably more ambitious novel than my first, and I hope you stop by, read it, give feedback, and above all, enjoy it!
I'll be starting with the prologue, which takes 3 years before the main the body of the book, this afternoon.

So, a large number of people have written and commented in the blog asking when the next chapter will be. The answer is, very very soon. Sometimes real life gets in the way, but I think I'm back on track schedule wise.
